TASA Update – Parlor Meetings & Purim Cards

We wanted to give everyone an update on our progress and upcoming events.

First, Dr. Rothrock and Rabbi Marrus are hard at work creating an amazing curriculum for our students K-5, with plans to grow into 6th grade and beyond for subsequent years.  The Torah Academy Board meets on Monday, February 11 to review their curriculum proposals and draft class schedules.  The board will also discuss hiring teachers, school policies, and other matters.  Also, we have begun the accreditation process and as we have been informed by the accreditation agency, it takes at least two years to receive the accreditation.  So, TASA looks to be accredited by the start of the 2015-2016 school year.

Second, we want to make everyone aware of our upcoming parlor meetings, where we will be presenting our overview for the curriculum, class schedules, how to enroll, and will answer any questions you may have.  Parlor Meetings will be held on February 14th (at the home of Dawn Tawil), 17th (at the home of Marcia & Charles Schwartz), and 25th (at the home of Stacey & Adam Schwartz).  We kindly ask that you RSVP to info@torahacademysa.com.  If you know of anyone that is interested in finding our more information about TASA, please let them know about these great opportunities.

Third, TASA is offering Purim Cards for sale.  You’ll benefit TASA and fulfill a wonderful Purim mitzvah at the same time.  Click here to find out how you can order TASA Purim Cards.

Lastly, we’d like to remind you that enrollment is now open.  If you are interested in having your child(ren) attend TASA, we ask that you please fill out an application form at your earliest convenience.

We want to wish everyone a Shabbat Shalom and look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at our upcoming Parlor Meetings.

Warmest Regards,

TASA Board of Directors
